Missions at KMBC

At Kinnett, we believe that the call to spread the Gospel is not limited to our own community—it extends across the world. Whether we are traveling to a neighboring town or across the globe, our mission is clear: to reach others with the love and message of Jesus Christ.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of serving in various places—each trip a unique opportunity to share the hope of Christ and make a difference. From Cape Charles, VA to Alaska, and even places like Anguilla, our church family has experienced firsthand how the Gospel transforms lives. We are also blessed to partner with a special ministry in the Caribbean, where we continue to provide support, outreach, and encouragement to local communities.

Our mission field is not confined by borders, and we are continually seeking new opportunities to serve. Whether it’s international trips or partnering with global ministries, we are passionate about extending the love of Christ wherever we go.

Upcoming Mission Trip:
Our next mission trip is scheduled for July 4-11 to Anguilla, where we will continue our work of sharing the Gospel through VBS and other avenues and serving those in need. Local Outreach at KMBC

Our mission extends beyond the walls of the church—we are committed to serving our neighboring community and being a lighthouse for those around us. Located on the corner of Morehead Street, we strive to be a place where the love of Christ shines brightly, impacting lives and meeting needs right where we are planted.

Key Outreach Events:

1. Vacation Bible School (VBS): Each summer, we host a  VBS program where children and adults of all ages come together for fun, learning, and growth in their faith. It’s a time for kids to know God’s love and build lasting friendships.
2. Trunk or Treat: On October 31st, we open our parking lot with cars for a safe and fun community event, offering families a place to come together for candy, games, and fellowship. This event is a highlight for many in our neighborhood and an opportunity to connect with local families in a meaningful way.
3. Partnerships with Local Organizations: We partner with local ministries, schools, and organizations to meet the needs of our community. Whether it’s a Back-to-School Drive, providing meals for high school athletes, or fundraising for pregnancy centers, we’re dedicated to making a difference and sharing the love of Christ.
4. Angel Tree: The Angel Tree helps provide Christmas gifts to local families in need. By choosing tags with gift requests, our church comes together to bless our community and share the love of Christ during the Christmas season.

Join us Monday, July 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living as we gather with the residents for a morning of worship.
We will leave the church at 10:00 a.m.
