The warning siren is heard across this world.

KMBC Family and Friends,
Let us realize that we are living in the last of the last days. It’s as plain as it can be. The warning siren is heard across this world.
Satan is the god of this world system . He is in rebellion against his Creator. Our Education system, government, media, politics, are ran by Satan. It’s all coming unglued.
This world system is in rebellion against God’s authority and it is passing away. Remember that God said it would be like this! It has to happen! The sewage of the flesh (the self-centered life) is continually spewing out of the hearts of men. God’s people are different.
We are not worried about the so-called climate change. What we are concerned about are the souls of men who have never been born of God. We are called to preach the Gospel of the Good News. We are essential to our Lord and so are others upon us.
Are you born again? Here are 9 Vital Signs from the Book of I John that give Airtight Assurance of salvation. A saved person will exhibit all of the 9 vital signs in their life, not one or two, or a few. All will be present in varying degrees if one has eternal life.

  1. Vital Sign #1 – You have communion with Christ (I John 1:1-4).
  2. Vital Sign #2 – You are dealing with sin by grieving over it and confessing it (I John 1:5-2:22).
  3. Vital Sign #3 – You are committed to obey God’s Word ( I John 2:3-6).
  4. Vital Sign # 4 – You love other believers and have compassion for them
    ( I John 2:7-11; 3:14-18; 4: 7-21).
  5. Vital Sign # 5 – You have a change of affections. You no longer love the world but love the world to
come. You love God, others, church, the Word of God (I John 2:12-17).
  6. Vital Sign #6 – You comprehend the truth in God’s Word (I John 2:18-27; 4:1-6).
  7. Vital Sign #7 – You are conforming to the image of Christlikeness (I John 2:28-3:10).
  8. Vital Sign #8 – You are in conflict with the lifestyle of the world (I John 3:11-13).
  9. Vital Sign #9 – You pray and have confidence in prayer ( I John 3:19-24; 5:14-15).
Tell your family that this is what a Christian is. There are many who are religious but lost. Many are deceived. Matthew 7:21: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of God, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”
Church is more essential more than ever. As the days grow darker God’s people shine brighter. Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star, will appear at the darkest period to rapture His people out of this world. Are you ready? Are your children? Your family? Your neighbors? Your coworkers?
If you need further instruction, please know I’m available!
I love you with the love of the Lord,
    Pastor Don

  • He’s Speaking To Us In This Covid-19 Virus Pandemic

God is talking, are we listening? In these last days He is speaking to us through His Son, the Lord Jesus. Times are fleeing and lives are valued by what we do with Jesus. But are we listening? How far have we drifted from God and His voice? Have we become more dull of hearing and distracted by the things of the day? Satan is our invisible enemy.

I am praying that my world will hear what God is saying, and to the church may we hear her Shepherd and draw nigh to His side. The world needs to realize that repentance is a necessity and only the Holy Spirit can reveal Christ to the lost and of its unbelief in His Son. They are dead in trespasses and sins and only He can give life. He is the Creator and Redeemer! All things began by Him and they will end in Him. And all will stand before Him! And one day all will kneel before Him!

The people of God should examine themselves and to repent of her selfishness and fleshly ways. We should know better but we have a drift as well from God’s ways. Our ways are not His ways and therefore we must know Him, hear Him, so as to follow Him. As the church goes so goes the family, the city, the country, and the world. Without the church who is to become a part of the conscience which awakens the sinner all will continue in its apostasy. So will the church listen to what God is saying to her? Will we love, pray, witness, give, confess our need to Him, or will we continue to try to deafen what He is saying? He is slow to judgment and yet He is great in mercy!

May we draw nigh and He has promised to draw nigh to us. Listen to Him!

  • Think and Be Thankful

Thanksgiving is a result of being filled with the Spirit of God. We are not thankful for one day but for every day of the year. Even in the bad circumstances, we should be focused on Him-the Author and Finisher of our faith. Only the Spirit of God can make us truly thankful. If you have the life of Christ in you then you have the greatest of possibilities to be thankful.

It is only God in you who will allow you to rejoice, to sing, to be aware of what He is doing. Only as you and I stay in constant contact with our Savior can we know what it means to be true to worship, pray, and praise. If we are not consciously thinking of His presence in us then we will back out of the Throne Room of God and find nothing but the world, the flesh, and Satan enticing us to our own resources.

How sad it is when we are in the reality of the presence of Christ in us! Turn from sin and turn to the Savior. Live and move and have your being in Him.

May we think so we may thank!

  • Why the Church?

Why is church attendance important? If the Christian is the body of Christ, then why does the church need to be in a building called the “church”? Isn’t having a friend over to have lattes just as meaningful? Or a few family members meeting together just as important?

The church organized is the only organization that Jesus Himself established. Church is an “of course” to the Son of Man (Revelation 1). It was an “of course” to the early apostles (Acts 2:42-47).

The church at large, which is largely absented, should be a prioritized who name the name of Christ. Instead of saying, “Why should I have to go to church?”; we should be asking, “What can I do to minister to and build up Christ’s own precious body, the church, and which I am a part?”

God took disciples who needed much work and together they accomplished much, for they turned the world upside down. This is what God does with and through and in people who take seriously the mandate of the church to meet, to encourage, to learn, to love, to give, to worship and to go.

The Bible tells us, “The eyes of the Lord run to and for throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). God isn’t looking for a strong man or a strong woman but rather someone whom He could be strong on behalf of.

Get into and stay with the organization, the church. For without organization the organism dies. We need the interaction, accountability, and outlet for our gifts and talents that only the local church can provide. I believe that when God set up the first Church, He did it right.

  • A Great Warning

“From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day” (Matthew 16:21).

Peter confessed “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Mt. 16:16), and yet the next words of Christ were not the sounds the disciples desired to hear. Leading up to and after the announcement of the identity of Jesus, God’s program was seen and foretold.

There are many misunderstandings today in our church culture. We have misunderstood the times we are in. We believe the weather report but not the Word of God. Many fail to see what God is doing in their midst.

False doctrine is rampant today as well. The yeast of false preachers have overtaken many churches and the only remedy is to remove it by the second coming of Christ. We belong to the holy nation, the kingdom of God and not the Babylon of this temporal world.

The crowd also is confused about Jesus. Do not follow the crowd, instead, let the Father reveal His Son to you and in you and confess Him to others for He is the Son of God. God is on the lookout for man who is not confused about His Son.

Another misunderstanding is that His people are to pick up their cross and follow Him. God expects us to be honest enough to live it. It does mean suffering, pain, and denying self. The only way to live is to deny self and follow Christ by faith. We should have no room for trivial pursuit, but to do business with God.

Do we really desire the power of God? Without sweat and tears there is no power. Will we be quiet enough to hear Him, brave enough to proclaim Him, and honest enough to obey Him?

  • Eastern Shore and Ocean City, MD. Mission Trip

    Maryland Mission Pic of Group
Last year we began to pray and to seek God’s face. We sensed God’s good hand in leading us to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. With much prayer and waiting in faith, our God supplied us with eighteen team members, three Spanish translators, the funds, and the love to head north.

The teams divided to accomplish more. The two teams were involved in VBS at Red Bank Baptist Church in Marionsville, Va., and the VBS Migrant ministry in Cheriton, Va. Five days of sharing the love of Christ through song, teaching, giving, and testifying were very rewarding to all.

Two mornings we headed up to Ocean City to work with a ministry called Son`Spot and with Randy Hoffman, a Sand Artist. The team spoke with many European Students who would drop in for breakfast supplied by Gary and Cathy of the Sonspot Ministries. We spoke with them and learned of their cultures and also shared the Lord Jesus with them. Many were receptive. We also distributed several hundred gospel tracts up and down the boardwalk.

On Thursday the team shoveled and displaced sand and built a foundation for Randy Hoffman to form his new sand art. The other team prepared food for an evangelistic dinner that afternoon.

Check out the Sand Art on RandyHoffman.com. While you are looking that up, view the ministry of Sonspot.org/. It was a lot of work but each night we laid our heads down in quiet assurance that God was meeting needs in us and through us.

  • H.E.A.R. method of reading God’s Word

    KMBC Family,

The H.E.A.R. Journal is one of the best methods I know in getting to know the God who loves you. As you connect with your church in reading the Scripture together on a daily basis, you will find that after your reading, meditating, and journaling, you can find prayer better and more effective.

    • Learn to Highlight the verse or verses that God is using for that day.
    • Explain the verses in the context of what the writer is saying.
    • Apply the Scripture to your life and what God is saying to you.
    • Respond to God in praise, thanksgiving, repentance, or in action toward
      someone.

Use the H.E.A.R. Method of reading the Word and allow the Word to get into you and for you to get into the Word.
